Dear Karen,

The first anniversary of Tech Corps! It’s hard to believe so much has happened in this year of birth and growth.

Congratulations on your having achieved so much during this very important first year. The efforts of Tech Corps and your own personal efforts to make Tech Corps a sucessful initiative are truly outstanding.

We at NASSP recognize just how important the activities of Tech Corps have been, and continue to be, for schools and educators throughout the country. Because efforts like yours, the schools are able to keep pace with the ever-changing technologies. The Tech Corps volunteers who assist the schools of our country in the planning and integration of technology into instructional programs are providing a valuable service.

Our own initiative in creating and launching the American Technology Honor Society goes back to early discussions I had with the Tech Corps creators. Now that ATHS is up and running, we sincerely believe that participating schools and students will play an increasingly important part in expanding the work of Tech Corps volunteers in our schools. Your support of ATHS through the year is truly appreciated.

Again, our very best wishes to you and Tech Corps for continued success. NASSP is proud to be a partner in your efforts to assist young people, their teachers, and their schools.

Sincerely,

Thomas F. Koerner
