Dear Karen:

Upon reviewing the accomplishments of Tech Corps, the National Association of Partners in Education (NAPE) is pleased to endorse your organization as one which has significantly improved educational standards nationwide.

To prepare our nation’s children for the 21st centry, educators must provide the foundations for success in the working world. NAPE is committed to building partnerships between the working and school communities and recognizes Tech Corps as a commendable illustration of an organization that has succeeded in doing so. By assisting schools in integrating technology into the classroom, Tech Corps has acknowledged the need for students to acquire skills outside those taught through the conventional curriculum of mathematics, the sciences, and the humanities.

The efforts of Tech Corps range from providing technological experts as mentors for students to conducting teaching seminars and repairing/installing computers into the classroom. The benefits of Tech Corps are innumerable and invaluable as students are able to enter the workforce with applicable, needed technological skills, teachers become more aware of various teaching aids and resources, and communities gain a more competent future workforce.

NAPE commends the achievements of Tech Corps since its establishment in 1995 and is confident that it will continue to raise the standards of teaching and learning across the nation. Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Daniel W. Merenda
President and CEO
